Taliban chief's Baitullah Mehsud killed in a drone strike

Pakistani media is reporting that Taliban chief's Baitullah Mehsud is killed in a drone strike.Mehsud was believed killed when a US drone fired two missiles into a family home in the Laddah area of South Waziristan on Wednesday.His second wife is also reported to be killed in the strike. At the time of attack he was in his fathers in law's home.

Pakistan government has confirmed that Baitullah is dead.However The United States said it could not confirm it had killed Pakistani Taliban leader Baitullah Mehsud in a drone strike.

He has killed scores of innocent men, women and children and is supposed to have plotted the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.His could be a serious blow to Taliban
