ISRO Mission Chandrayaan Failed ?

ISRO Moon mission chandrayaan has lost its contact with Bangalore command center .Chandrayaan is not receiving the commands from the command center . It is also not sending any signal. When asked Is the chandrayaan mission failed . ISRO chairman Mr Madhavan said Its not correct to say that mission failed . Chadrayaan has already completed its 95% target.The data received from chandrayaan is sufficient for analysis for 3-4 years ..He said there is some problem in the battery of chandrayaan .

He also said that still there is some hope left We are trying to establish contact with chandrayaan . He also said that we have learned a lot from chandrayaan . This will help us in our chandrayaan mission 2 which is expected to be launched by 2012
