Three Eclipses one solar and two lunar From July 7 Onwards

From July 7 to August 6, three eclipses, one solar and two lunar, will take place this year.The first will be a lunar eclipse on July 7, followed by a solar eclipse on July 22 and a lunar eclipse on August 6.

The sequence of the first triple eclipse will be a penumbra lunar eclipse in which the moon will be darkened by the earth's shadow occuring on July 7, will be followed by a solar eclipse on July 22 and then another lunar eclipse on August 7.The second penumbra lunar eclipse of the year falling on July 7 will not be visible from India, but the third lunar eclipse of the year falling on August 7 is visible from India,total solar eclipse on July 22 is going to be a life time opportunity for the people of India. the maximum duration of eclipse is 6 minutes and 44 seconds. This is the longest until year 2132,

The eclipses have a major effect on the world and its inhabitants. In the past great disasters have occurred and it would be not be an exaggeration to say the world was on its way to destruction. According to the book, the rare phenomenon was visible in 1915.

The next total solar eclipse would take place only in 2114, that is, over a century later

Scientist suggested people to use solar filters for observing solar eclipse and not to directly witness it with naked eye which may cause injury to eyes.


This month of July is going to be the special month . This will be the most special month of this century. This month we are going to witness 3 eclipses.
